The Glorious Damavand tour

Damavand, with 5,761m elevation is the highest mountain in Iran, western Asia and Europe. It is the highest natural entity in the country & the subject of many mythical and folkloric stories; on behind of which, there’s a long history of ascends to its peak. Located in the Central Alborz chain with 16 various routes to ascend the peek & due to many deep valleys and high slopes surrounding it, Damavand region harbors a great variety of vegetation and wild life. Of special features of this volcanic mountain we can cite its huge glaciers and the sulfuric hill located at the peak.

1st Day
Tehran- Polour
Arrival in Tehran, then driving to Polour a village in Larijan strict ,well known for being the climbing start point of the Mount Damavand.O/N (Polour Hut–B-D).

2nd Day
Polour-Bargah-e Sevom
Transfer to Gousfand Sara, start climbing toward Bargah-e Sevom, O/N Bargah-e Sevom (4250M) (Tent/refuge– B – Lunch box–D)
3rd Day
Bargah-E-Sevom
Ascending to the height of 4300 M for acclimatization in the morning, turning back to Bargah-E-Sevom, O/N Bargah-e Sevom (4250M) (Tent/ refuge –B-Lunch box-D)
4th Day
Bargah-E-Sevom-Damavand Summit- Bargah-E-Sevom
Early in the morning (around 05:00AM), starting the ascending from the elevation of 4100 towards the Peak (5671M), coming back and resting , O/N Bargah-e Sevom(Tent/ refuge- B –Lunch box-D)
5th Day
Bargah –e Sevom -Gousfandsara- Tehran
Descending from Bargah to Gousfandsara, driving to Rineh village, you may swim and relax in thermal water springs of Larijan, if you are interested, heading to Tehran, arrival and end of the tour in Tehran(B)

Visa

In order to get the visa, we need 7 working days to get the invitation ref number from Iran foreign ministry.
The needed documents are: a completed visa application form (please Click here to fill the application form),
the copy of your passport; and also the scan of your former visa if you have traveled to Iran before .
The file of your passport copy should be as below:
