    Il calendario Solar Hijara è uno dei sistemi di calendario più accurati al mondo. È anche noto come il calendario persiano, calendario iraniano e SH. Calendario. Un anno, nel calendario Solar Hijara è diviso in 12 mesi di lunghezza variabile. I primi 6 mesi includono 31 giorni e i mesi 7-11 includono 30 giorni. L’ultimo mese, Isfand, ha 29 giorni in un anno ordinario e 30 giorni in un anno bisestile. Le prime forme di calcolo di tempo in Iran risalgono al secondo millennio a.e.v .Un certo numero di sistemi calendario diversi furono utilizzati in Persia durante i secoli, incluso il calendario zoroastriano e il calendario islamico. La prima versione del moderno calendario Solar Hijri, il calendario Jalali, fu sviluppata nell’XI secolo da un gruppo di astronomi, tra cui si trova il nome  dello scienziato persiano Omar Khayyam.

*In Zoroastrian month each day has a special name, it almost include one of the month name such as Mehr, Bahman and so on. When the name of the day and month are matched Zoroastrian name them as Mehregan and… and take a party as celebrating those days.
*In Ramazan month most of the people are fasting and all the restaurant and coffee shops are closed until sunset.
*Christian, Jewish, and Zoroastrian have their own holidays.
*December 25 (Christmas) is not a national holiday in Iran.
