Iran mountaineering tours | Nature & Nomads

There are many divisions and sub-Divisions for each of the main tribes and tens of smaller tribes. With the expansion of education and better communications the young generation of Iranian tribes has made great progress supplying very intelligent engineers, medical men, administrators, scientists and even women doctors to serve the country. Today there are over hundred different tribes, each with its own dialect, picturesque dress, dwelling-place and chief.

1st Day
Arrival-Tehran
Arrival at IKIA International Airport, meet and greet and transfer to the hotel, early check in and rest. Visiting some highlights of Tehran (one of the largest cities in the Middle East, it has been the capital of Iran for more than 200 years, it has a lot of commercial centers and shopping centers), O/N Tehran (Hotel-B)
2nd Day
Tehran-North Damavand- Nandal
Driving to Nandal at 2300 m Mountain to ascend the northern face of Damvand, (Iran`s roof, the symbol of perseverance and Stability), the northern face is a unique route that less travelers have experienced. Taking Rest O/N Nandal (Base Camp B-L-D)
3rd Day
North Damavand- Nandal
Advanced Camp(Takht-E-Fereydun)
After breakfast, climbing up to Advanced Camp Takht-E-Fereydun , one of the most unique path to climb up Damvand and the most interesting way that all Eco tourists like pass to mark the summit, at 4348 m, O/N Takht-E-Fereydun (Advance Camp-B-L-D)

Early morning start climbing to the Peak, en route having breakfast, visiting gorgeous landscapes after ascending Damavand peak return to Takht-E-Fereydun camp (Advanced Camp -B-L-D)
7th Day
Advanced Camp (Takht-E-Fereydun)-Nandal Village

After breakfast heading back to Nandal Village and taking rest, O/N Nandal (Base Camp- B-L-D)
8th Day
Nandal Village-Rudbarak
Diving to Rudbarak via Haraz road and visiting the beautiful green landscape, O/N Rudbarak(Local House B-L-D)
9th Day
Rudbarak – Tang-E-Galu-Hesarchal(Camp)
Being transferred to Tang e Galou, start trekking in the foothills of Alam Kouh(with altitude of ~4800m) via Hesarchal route, another important part of Alburz Range ,towards Hesar Chal Lake(5-6 hours & with altitude of ~ 3800m), one of the paths leading to Alam Kouh on the south Face of this mount, covered by permanent glaciers , O/N Hesarchal (Camp/Tent-B-Lunch Box-D)
10th Day
Hesarchal(Camp) – Acclimatization
One more full day acclimatization, enjoying the beauties of the nature and glaciers, O/N Hesarchal (Camp/Tent-B-Lunch Box-D)
11th Day
Hesarchal(Camp)-Alamkuh Peak- Hesarchal(Camp)
Heading Toward the Peak (4800 m) & then descending toward Hesar Chal, O/N Hesarchal (Tent/Camp-B-Lunch box -D)

Hesarchal(Camp)-Tangeh Galu-Rudbarak

After breakfast heading back to Tangeh Galu after lunch, back to Rudbarak , O/N Rudbarak (Local House-Lunch Box)

Rudbarak-Abasabad Forest-Caspian Sea-Masuleh Village
Driving towards Masuleh one of the most famous and eye-catching village of Gillan and observing The Gilanians rural life and visiting Abas Abad Forest en route, driving by the coastline in order to get to Masuleh Village, O/N Masuleh (Hotel-B)
14th Day
Masuleh Village-Khalkhal
Visiting Masuleh, this spectacular village, walking around Masuleh then heading to Khalkhal, continuing the way towards the forests facing the sea, and we will experience one of the coolest places of Iran in summer, O/N Khalkhal (Hotel-B)
15th Day
-Khalkhal-Noer Lake- Mount Sabalan Shelter
Driving toward Neor lake and heading to Mount Sabalan Shelter, which is located at the highest altitude and a lot of trekkings starts from here and visiting Talesh nomad en route and, start full day trekking around the Lake and pastures, covered by wild floras, visiting Nomads’ life style in the area, heading to Mount Sabalan Shelter at 3900 m, O/N Sabalan Shelter (Shelter -B-Lunch Box-D)
16th Day
-Sabalan Shelter- Sabalan Peak- Sabalan Shelter
Heading to Sabalan Peak -large dormant volcano- (4811) which is one of the popular symbols of Azerbayejan and one of the famous mountaineering destinations. Encompassing several thermal springs. The mount’s foothills are Shahsavan Nomads place of living. Return to the refuge and taking rest, O/N Shelter (Shelter -B-Lunch Box-D)
17th Day
Sabalan Shelter-Shahsavan Nomad(Camp)
After breakfast, heading for an exciting safari, passing the foothills of Sabalan to visit Shahsavan tribes, the symbol of bravery and resistance, full day visiting Shahsavan Nomad,

Half day safari then driving to Tabriz and visiting some highlights of Tabriz such as Kaboud Mosque Blue mosque, Ghajar (Amir Nezam) house, O/N Tabriz (Hotel-B- Lunch Box)
20th Day
Tabriz
Full day city tour of Tabriz, visiting the most interesting highlights of Tabriz, including, Azerbaijan Museum, Constitutional House, and Traditional Bazaar

Tabriz-Takhte Soleyman-Takab

Takab-Sanandaj-Paalangaan Village
Driving to Palangan Village and its beautiful nature, visiting Karaftoo historical and residential Cave en route, then heading to Paalangaan, hiking around & passing through the mountainous areas, green pastures of Tefin and villages plus its beautiful nature, O/N Paalangan Village (Local House-B-L-D)
23rd Day
Paalangaan Village-Kermanshah-Bistoon
Driving to Bisotun, visiting Tagh-e Bostan (vault of Bostan) historical complex, and getting acquainted with Kermanshah city and on the way a visit of the Bisotun, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the important relief of Persia king Darius, en route, visiting one the most famous walls of the nature, with the height of 1200 M. which is located in the corner of Silk Road, O/N Bistoon (Shah Abbasi 5* Hotel Caravanserai -B)
24th Day
Bistoon- Toserkan Defile
In the morning, driving toward Alvand heights to set up our wonderful Camp and experience the fabulous beauties of Alvand mountain’s scenery named Tooserkan Defile. O/N Tooserkan Defile (Camp-B-L-D)
25th Day
Tooserkan Defile- Midan Mishan
After having a full energy breakfast, start our Trekking and visiting the Kalagh lane (Crow Nest) Mountains, then, ascending to Alvand peak ( 2500-3500 M), after our descending to Alvand skirt, named Midan Mishan Plain, have another gorgeous Camp and stay the night there. O/N Midan Mishan ( Camp-B-L-D)
26th Day
Midan Mishan- Abbas Abad Garden
Having another trekking to descend towards Ganj Nameh (cuneiform rock carvings), dating back to Achaemanid Era and belonging to Darius the Great, sightseeing of, Ganj Nameh & Abbas Abad valley, enjoy the night of Abbas Abad Garden.

27th Day
Abbas Abad Garden- Alisadr Cave- Hamedan
Driving toward one of the most famous water caves in the world, Alisadr Cave, visiting Lalejin Village, famous as one of the most clay handicrafts. O/N Abas Abad (Villa-B)
28th Day
-Hamedan- IKIA
Half day visiting Hamedan City, Abu-Ali –Sina(Avicenna) the great philosopher, physicist, poet (AD 980-1037), Baba Taher-e Oryan, Iranian famous poet, Mausoleums, then going to IKIA, Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport to board home.

In order to get the visa, we need 7 working days to get the invitation ref number from Iran foreign ministry.
The needed documents are: a completed visa application form (please Click here to fill the application form),
the copy of your passport; and also the scan of your former visa if you have traveled to Iran before .
