Desert Gypsum is formed when the water passes through the salt, clay ground and reaches to a very high density. Due to the continuous pressure, Gypsums appear on the surface of Lut Desert as white stone beads or in size of 100 meters.
Hammada is a vast flat plain in Lut desert and mirages can always be seen inside it due to the flatness of the area. So if GPS or other navigation accessories are not available, you will easily get lost. O/N Desert (Camp 2/tent)

The relative smoothness, poor vegetation, prevailing winds and loose alluvial formations are the most important reasons of wind erosion effects. The sands being displaced by gale-force winds renowned as the 120-day winds of Sistan and placed in the east of Lut, forms these sandy hills which are stunning Geo-touristic phenomena. Lut Desert/ Camp 8- ZB
Beautiful sceneries of desert are endless. It’s been 10 days in desert and there still are many thigs to discover. On 10th day of our trip we visit kalouts and Zaban-e Mar Valley. Zaban-e Mar is a huge gap with a length of 9 km with walls about thirty meters high in the west of Hamada Sahara in Lut desert. This gap can be the home to strange endemic animals of the area, including sand fox. It has probably been formed by water drains or Sistan great flood which took place at old times. The valley is named Zaban-e Mar (Snake Tongue) because of the similarity of the area to a snake tongue with the end split in two. (Camp 8/Tent).
Meals Included: Breakfast –Lunch- Dinner

11th Day
Lut Desert/ Camp 9 CHL
Today we can visit the results of wind on unique formations such as kalouts and valleys. Kaluts are scenerie, spread from the northwest to southeast with dimensions of 250 km length and 70 km width. It is written in historical manuscripts that no one has ever passed through it so it’s still unknown and the only information available is about the surrounding areas. This anonymity is due to two natural phenomena in west and east of Lut desert. Kalout in the West and the big Rigestan in the East are two factors that restrict the eastern and western regions connectivity. That’s why no one used to travel from West to East of Lut. The only way passing through Lut, is Rahe No (The new way) which is located between two natural complications, one of which is the wind sands of the eastern Lut and another one Hamada Desert. O/N Desert (Camp 9 /tent).

12th Day
Lut Desert/ Camp 10- GB
We actually are getting near to the end of the desert. Drive to visit two geographical phenomena of Lut Desert. We first visit Rood Shoor then Gandom Beryan. Rood shur lake forms salt layers due to passing through the north Lut and variety of minerals. Image of ovate hills and isolated Kalouts like a tiny island in the middle of the waters, creates a bewitching view. Rood shur salt density is so high specifically in years of low-water that salt crystals are always formed on the sides of the river. The area is covered with Igneous rocks and 4-meter- height Black lava rocks. Coexistence of Black basalt rocks and yellow base soil is one of the amazing phenomenon that give the area inexplicable beauty. O/N desert (Camp 10)
