Trekking Mount Alvand Tour

Mount Alvand, 3580 subrange of the Zagros Mountains in western Iran located in south of the historical city of Hamedan in Hamedan Province. Various hot springs, from spring to late summer, surround Mount Alvand that attract many tourists every year. It is a sacred place in ancient religion and among the locals. Kurds and Lurs are living in the lowest foothills of the mountain . The upmost part of the mountain is shaped by an attractive granite rock that is the symbol of this mountain. In this climbing tour, you are going to ascend Mount Alvand from Ganjnameh Historical Site, northern face with eco-tourist parameters and you can settle in an advanced camp. On this path, you can see the unique vegetation of Zagros mountain range, along with its mild mountainous climate.  While enjoying the spectacular sceneries of Zagros highlands, you can explore gardens around the mountain with different fruit trees. You have whatever it takes to have a memorable climb.

Arrival at IKIA International Airport, meet, greet, and transfer to the hotel, early check in and rest. Visiting some highlights of Tehran including Iran Ancient National Museum (Iran’s mother museum), Golestan Palace (The Rose Garden Palace), UNESCO World Heritage, traditional Bazaar,

Drive to Hamedan, Visit Alisadr Cave, and Laljin city, which is the most important center in the country, which has housed the pottery industry for some time. Laljin Pottery is one of those arts that exists in the homes of many of us Iranians.

Head to Alvand peak, we will visit Ganjnameh along the way and later on move towards the peak. Visit Mishan square where Lor nomads spend their summers until we get to Alvand peak with 3575 altitude. Afterwards we will head back to Mishan square and spend the night in the Shelter.
