In the huge Naqsh-e Jahan Square is the 17th-century Imam (Shah) Mosque, whose dome and minarets are covered with mosaic tiles and calligraphy. Ali Qapu Palace, built for Shah Abbas and completed in the late 16th century, has a music room and a verandah overlooking the square’s fountains. Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque is known for its intricate tiling.

Itinerary

Arrival in Isfahan International Airport; Meet and greet by your tour guide and transfer to the hotel. After a while rest, take a stroll around the Khaju and Si-o-se pol historical bridges at night to make you ready for your visits tomorrow.

Drive to Mesr, a village surrounded by dunes is our final destination today. On our way, we have some fascinating stops. First, the highlights of Nain such as Pirniya Museum and congregational (Jameh) Mosque, then we drive south towards Iran’s biggest Desert, Kavir-e Namak (Salty desert) in the old historical Anarak, a mineral city in the heart of the desert. Its beautiful citadel and magnificent caravanserai shows us some aspects of life style in desert areas, afterwards we will head to Mesr village.

We explore Mesr and its surrounding farms with a flat texture, which is located in the sea of sand. Camel riding between sand hills is an interesting activity for urban people who cannot live without modern transportation means.

Drive to Tabas, visit Khur desert city and Tabagheh Desert in rout.

Full day city tour of Tabas. Visit sightseeing of Tabas and Golshan Garden, hiking in a valley around Tabas, visiting some cave style shelters named khanehay-e Gabre (Zoroastrian houses) dating back to Mithraism period, according to some archeologists opinions; Tagh Band-e Shah Abbasi (kind of dam belonging to Safavid Era) and hot water spring.

Drive to visit Esfahak village, that can be imagined as a village still being alive at a fixed time in the past,after Tabas earthquake in  1978; visiting beautiful and green village of Nayband and its special architectural style in route.

Driving to Yazd, visit the highlights of Meybod in route; including caravansary, traditional refrigerator, Chaparkhane (old post center), Pigeon Tower, Narin Castle and Ceramic shops.

Full day city tour of Yazd; an old city with interesting desert style architecture. Then we will visit the highlights of Yazd including Amir Chakhmagh Complex, Fahaadan old neighborhood, Zeyaeyeh School (Aleksandra Prison), Water Museum, Congregational Mosque, Zoroastrian old Fire Temple and the tallest wind tower in Dolat Abaad Garden.

Driving to Pasargadae, visit Pasargadae, the most important historical sites of Iranian civilization, dating back to 2500 years ago, and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

O/N Pasargadae- Persepolis (Hotel)

Meals Included: Breakfast

visit Persepolis and Pasargadae, the most important historical sites of Iranian civilization, dating back to 2500 years ago, and UNESCO World heritage Site; including the mighty Persepolis (Thakht -e Jamshid ), Achaemenid palaces and its engraves. In addition, Naghsh-e Rostam and Naghsh-e Rajab plus the historical ensemble of Pasargadae, the tomb of Cyrus the great, engraves and Palaces and then, head to Shiraz. Drive to Shiraz and visiting Persepolis and Naghsh Rostam, Visit the highlights of Shiraz.

In the last day of your tour, based on your exact time of departure you may visit the city in your free time. Keep in mind you will check out at 12.00p.m and you may put your luggage in the Lobby of the hotel.
