Itinerary

Arrival in Tehran International Airport; Meet and greet by your tour guide and transfer to the hotel. After a while rest, tour some of the magnificent museums in downtown Tehran, like the National Museum of Iran and Abgineh (Glass and Ceramic) Museums. The national museum contains prestigious relics influential in shaping the world’s culture and civilization. Our next visit is the Golestan Palace, (the Rose Garden Palace) UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the oldest historic monuments belonging to a group of royal buildings in Tehran & Tehran traditional grand bazaar

Kashan is a small town with a great and vibrant history. Its traditional houses, like invaluable gems, are bearing stories of known families of the city. Journey kashan, we spend hours to visit the highlights of this beautiful city and its breathtaking monuments including Fin garden, UNESCO World Heritage Site, the historical houses of Borujerdis and Tabatabaeis.

Journey to Abyaneh, a village of great antiquity, which is like a living architectural and anthropological museum dating back to Safavid Era, the simplicity found in houses affords a picture of life in rural areas of Iran. Thereafter, Isfahan, Safavid shining capital, renowned for its arts like Meenakari, Miniature, Silverwork and Copper, with countless amazing monuments is ahead of us. We take a leisurely walk on historical bridges of Si-o-Se Pol & Khaju

The next morning is fully dedicated to Isfahan, teemed with fabulous monuments and UNESCO world heritages. At the city’s heart stands UNESCO-listed Naqsh-e Jahan Square (Meidan Emam) flanked by azure-tiled mosques, Outstanding Sheikh Lotf-ol-lah and Imam Mosques, Ali Qapu Palace and the entrance to a vast bazaar. Fountains dance where once polo players pranced to entertain Safavid ruler, Shah Abbas. After an hour road driving we enter Kuhpayeh.

Mesr, a village surrounded by dunes is our final destination today. On our way we have some fascinating stops. First, Nain highlights such as Pirniya Museum, congregational (Jameh) Mosque, old Aba knitting factory (Aba is a kind of cloth of Muslim clergymen). Then we drive to south toward Iran’s biggest Desert, Kavir-e Namak (Salty desert) in the old historical Anarak, a mineral city in the heart of desert. Its beautiful citadel & magnificent caravanserai shows us some aspects of life style in desert areas. We explore Mesr and its surrounding farms with a flat texture which is located in the sea of sand. Camel riding between sand hills is an interesting activity for urban people who can’t live without modern transportation means.

Like yesterday we enjoy beauties of some other desert cities and villages. Khur and its old water reservoir, villages and palm groves along with a short visit of old town of Karanagh, it’s caravanserai and Shaking tower would unlock this dry lands’ mystery for us. We visit Meybod highlights, some brilliant innovations to deal with daily life problems including traditional refrigerator (an old structure to produce ice in winter and keep until summer, Chaparkhane (old post center), Pigeon Tower, Narin Castle. Continue our way to Yazd,

Despite being close to desert; Yazd is a green city. It owes its greenery to another ancient Iranian engineering technique. Their smart solution to water shortage is recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site. They invented Qanat and brought water from heart of the earth to the ground. A different UNESCO World Heritage Site, intriguing, still alive architecture of old Yazd district, simple life style and hospitable people in spite of unkind and tight nature, leave you speechless. Some other highlights including Amir Chakhmagh Complex, Fahaadan old neighborhood, Zeyaeyeh School (Aleksandra Prison), Water Museum, Congregational (Jame) Mosque, Zoroastrian old Fire Temple, and the tallest wind tower in Dolatabad Garden can explain briefly the history of desert life. Leaving desert starry sky behind, we drive to Pasargadae.

The most well-known monument, Persepolis, UNESCO World Heritage Site tells you the story of one of the world’s most sophisticated civilizations, dates back to 2500 years ago, Achaemenids. The complex includes magnificent Persepolis (Thakht-e Jamshid) & Pasargadae, the Tomb of Cyrus, Achaemenid’ palaces and relief, Naqsh-e Rostam Necropolis, and Naqsh-e Rajab, Leaving the historical remains behind, we enter Shiraz, the city of poetry, flower, nightingale, culture and history.

We are warmly welcomed by beautiful city of Shiraz. Last day of our visit is partly historical and partly excursion in Shiraz popular flowery gardens. Vakil Ensemble; Mosque & baazar, Eram Garden UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then we get to know tombs of two Iranian Famous Poets, Hafez and Sadi and Iranian literature. transfer to the International Airport, fly back home.
